  • 4 Days in the Chelsea Star Hotel :

    I have stayed at the Chelsea Star Hotel and so I tell about that stay in that blog.
    I explain what happened day after day while a long of 4 days and I explain also what I think about that hotel.

    at 8th Avenue New York, NY 10001 in United States of America.

  • 1st Day in Chelsea Star Hotel :

    I arrived at the 300 West 30th Street in the 8th Avenue of New York and I saw the door of the hotel with the acronym of Chelsea Star Hotel :

     I entered in the hotel and I saw the lobby and the reception : surprise ! That was the smallest reception I have ever seen but that was also the most decorated I've ever seen. There were flowers, columns and a giant statue of Betty Boop too !
    The receptionist told me if he can help me and so I explained that I would have liked to book a room.
    He asked which room I preferred and so I chose a private room, but that was a special room !
    Yes, that hotel had special room which are decorated in accordance with the room's theme.
    For example, there was a Betty Boop room and a Madonna room. But I chose the Salvador Dali room.
    For me, the Dali room was the most beautiful room in the hotel. In the room, there were the soft clocks of Dali and others Dali's works of Art painted on the walls.

    After the formalities for booking the room, I went in it.
    I unpacked my things and after I tried to find by the net (with my laptop computer) monuments or museums that I would have been able to visit for the day after.

    At the end of the day, I went to the hotel's restaurant for having dinner. I ate the best dinner I've ever eaten : that was Fish and Chips !
    And finally I went to bed and I slept.

  • 2nd Day in Chelsea Star Hotel :

    I woke up early for having breakfast and so I went to the hotel's restaurant. After the breakfast, I decided to visit the statue of liberty. The staff was the nicest staff I've ever seen because they were polite, and gave me advices for my projects in the city (New York).
    Incidentally, that day, a person of the staff gave me the biggest reduction which existed for the statue of liberty's entrance.
     After my visit, I came back to the hotel and I went in my room. I had a shower and after I surfed on the net.
    Meantime, a cleaner entered in my room for clean it.
    She was very nice  and she talked with me.
    Then, I had dinner and I went to bed for sleeping.

  • 3rd Day in the Chelsea Star Hotel :

    The nice cleaner woke up me and I went to the hotel's restaurant for having breakfast.
     After I wanted to visit the New York Museum of Television & Radio. The receptionist showed me the way to go to the museum. That was the best and the biggest Television & Radio museum I've ever seen.
    I liked very much that museum.

    Then, I came back in my room at the hotel.
    That day, the weather was very hot so I switched on the air conditioning. But the evening I switched it off because that was the coldest air conditioning I have ever seen. 
    That day, I didn't have dinner in the hotel's restaurant,
    because I bought some rice and I cooked it with the microwave which was in the room.
     That was practical because there was also a fridge and a TV in the room.
     After I had dinner, I watched a film on my computer and after I went to bed for sleeping.

  • 4th Day in the Chelsea Star Hotel :

    I woke up early to enjoy my last day in New York.
    I had breakfast and after, (for my last day) the nice cleaner proposed me to visit the others specials rooms which weren't taken. So I visited the Madonna's room and the Betty Boop room.
    That day, I saw several clients going out of theirs rooms and I talked with them, and they were very nice.
     After I visited the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
     That was the most complete and the most interesting Sea, Air & Space museum I have ever seen.

     Then, I came back to the hotel and I packed my things
    because I left New York in the evening.
    After I paid the expense account for the booking of the room. Then, I had dinner. 
     And finally I said goodbye at all the staff and the clients that I knew.
     
     In conclusion, I found that was the best stay I have ever done and I was very happy about it.
